PEORIA - A River City museum needs help raising money for an air conditioning system

The John C. Flanagan House Museum holds antiques and art work that captures much of Peoria's history.

They use a steam heat system to keep warm during the winter, but managers say it's difficult to host tours inside the house during summer because they don't have an air conditioning system.

They also say the conditions are damaging to the building's collectables.
The Flanagan Museum is the oldest standing house in Peoria.
They’ve raised $1600 of $18,000 needed for the new system.
