After a soggy June, many are starting to think of flooding.
The Illinois River is expected to rise above flood stage.
It could continue to rise around 19.3 feet.
The American Red Cross is urging central Illinois residents to be prepared in case of flooding.
It offers these tips for residents:
Listen to your weather radio to keep up on weather and flooding
Be prepared to evacuate immediately
When a flood warning is issued head for higher ground and stay there
Only return home when officials says it is safe
