Four Families Relocate After Apartment Fire

NORMAL- Four twin cities families had to relocate tonight after a large a fire in normal.

The three alarm blaze tore through an apartment complex on Kentwood Court just before 2:00 p.m. The first crews on the scene reported heavy fire in an apartment on the second floor. Flames were under control within an hour, but the fire department says the entire building is uninhabitable. Those residents say they have all been given other units to stay in.

No injuries were reported. Three cats were rescued and returned to their owners. Investigators are working to determine what caused the blaze.
