A Galva woman, accused of causing the death of her seven year old son in a traffic accident in 2012, was sentenced Tuesday to four years probation and one year periodic imprisonment or work release, according to court officials. 37 year old Hena Patel pleaded guilty in January in Stark County to aggravated DUI while other charges were dropped as part of the plea agreement. Authorities say Patel was the driver of a minivan which crashed on Route 78 just south of Route 17, killing her son, Shubham. He was ejected from the minivan when the vehicle went into a ditch and hit a culvert.
