"Insane Women Productions" held an art fair outside the former hospital's tuberculosis wing.
The hospital used to hold and event each year to display works crafted by the patients.
The group has been working to keep the long history of the state hospital alive.
They say that is why they wanted to hold the fair.
"We're up here, showing people what the history was, that is is not the campfire stories they have heard," group member Christina Morris said. "We enjoy showing 25 years of collecting documentation, talking to people who worked here."
The group delivers history tours on every last Saturday of the month.
