The school is still working with a $70 million budget, but the state support is dwindling every year.
So for the future, the budget will not rely on state money. “The challenge that we have is that it came to us later than typical. Usually, we learn about these amounts in May and June. We didn’t learn about this amount until mid-July,” Bruce Budde, Executive Vice President of Administration and Finance at ICC, said.
Officials are working to balance the budget before presenting it to the board in two weeks.
