The Friends Forever program is designed to bring kids of different cultures together to learn about the world. During that time, they're living in close quarters and learning about the world around them. This group is from Nazareth and Yagur in Israel.
On Wednesday, they stopped by an old Jewish temple and met with Bloomington's Rotary Club. Group leaders say it's been a special opportunity to see America and learn about each other.
"They need to know that not all Arabs are... as well as Arab kids need to know that not all Jewish kids are whatever they think they are,” said Osnat Oknin, an Israeli teacher.
The teenagers and their teachers will be traveling to Rockford and Chicago during their two week visit to the states.
