NORMAL- On Thursday the bells were ringing at Illinois State University.

It was all in celebration of Founders Day.

A replica of the Old Main Bell was rang one-hundred and fifty seven times to celebrate the one-hundred and fifty seventh birthday of the university.

Bell ringers included a variety of faculty and alumni.

It's a tradition that alumni say is worth coming back for and a great time to reflect on how far the university has come.
