Lexington Man Pleads NOT GUILTY to Impersonating a Cop

A Lexington man, accused of impersonating a policeman and solicitating a sexual act, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday and pleaded NOT GUILTY. According to a release, 31 year old Nyles Schumm is accused of making arrangements to exchange money for sexual favors with a LaSalle County woman in Pontiac. Police claim once at the hotel, Schumm displayed a gun and implied he was a cop. Schumm is back in court April 14th.
