That side of the bridge hasn’t been upgraded since 1999.
At Wednesday’s meeting, engineers discussed the major need for either rehabilitating or replacing the bridge.
They say with more than 20,000 drivers using the bridge each day, the bridge is reaching the end of its service life.
However, there are a number of options they can consider before construction begins.
Construction is set to begin in 2017.
There is a public meeting Tuesday, August 26 at the Washington Gifted School Gymnasium. It runs for 5-7:00p.m.
