The library held a tea party for any Morton residents ninety years of age or older.
It's part of the building's 90th Anniversary celebration.
Thirty-two Mortonites- most born in the roaring twenties- were there to celebrate.
Many of them remember when the library was new.
“They used store fronts down town. Uh, they moved periodically. And uh we just thought we never ever get a permanent building. But we have this,” said resident Burdell Hall, who was born in 1924, the same year the library opened.
