FULTON COUNTY - A group of mosquitoes in Fulton County tested positive for West Nile virus.
The Fulton County Health Department released its results Monday after collecting the insects last week. Officials are warning residents to take precautions against the bite-transferred disease.
The FCHD encourages residents to use bug spray outdoors. Other advice include wearing shoes, socks, long sleeves and long pants when outside. Make sure doors and windows have tight fitting screens. And eliminate all standing water that can lead to mosquito breeding.
