ILLINOIS - Day care providers have one less fee to worry about today. They no longer have to pay union fees or dues. This applies to day cares with children from low-income families because some receive child-care subsidies.

More than 50,000 day care providers fall under this new policy, and it could save these small businesses up to $10 million a year.
