BLOOMINGTON - The Miller Park Zoo is showing off some of its newest animals to the public for the first time.

For the past two months, three female otter pups had been staying inside. Now, they're exploring a big new world, and are learning how to swim in a baby pool with their mother Tallulah.

The pups will be named at a zoo auction in September, and sent to another zoo in the fall. It's the first time the zoo has had otter pups. Nationally, only three litters are born each year in zoos.
