Crews will be returning to this stretch of Route 29 Wednesday, August 27th to finish the patching job which is expected to last two to three weeks. Following that, patching work then will be completed at the Washington location on Business 24 from Cummings to Zinser. Meantime, the southbound lanes of Route 29 ( Galena Road) in Peoria will be CLOSED between Gardner Lane and Lorentz Avenue in Peoria and Peoria Heights from Wednesday, August 27th to Tuesday, September 9th.
