Pekin Man Sentenced for Mail Fraud

A Pekin man, who pleaded guilty to mail fraud was sentenced Thursday in Peoria federal court to 27 months in prison, according to court officials. 57 year old Larry Snell is also ordered to repay over 157,000 dollars in restitution. The indictment claimed Snell bough gold, supposedly for Jewelry on Water but the purchases, the indictment claims, were actually for his own use.
