One of four people rounded up in an alleged burglary ring in Pekin pleaded guilty Monday and was sentenced. 25 year old Justin Petty of Pekin pleaded guilty, according to court officials, to burglary while another charge was dropped. As part of his plea agreement, Petty was sentenced to three years in prison but given credit for 61 days he's already served in jail. He along with 23 year old Casey Landrith were originally each charged with burglary and theft. Landrith was also named in a separate burglary case. The arrests came after some 30 businesses in Pekin, East Peoria and Peoria were hit since the first of the year. A third person, who was named in a misdemeanor charge, has already been sentenced in connection with this crime. Police claim he acted primarily as the lookout.
