Average retail gas prices in Peoria have fallen 8.7 cents per gallon in the past week, according to data released Monday by GasBuddy.com. Prices were 16.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago and 24.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan says motorists should see some nice relief at the pump in the next week or two. DeHaan says there is a possibility of further declines as long as we don't see any major political disruptions in the middle east or a hurricane.
