PEORIA – The Peoria Riverfront Museum is expanding alcohol sales on museum grounds.
Visitors can already enjoy a drink in certain parts of the museum.
Tuesday night, the Peoria City Council gave the okay to extend the license.
Now, the museum can allow alcohol consumption on an outside lawn.
It will also be able to host craft beer and wine tasting exhibits inside its classrooms.
The council also heard more about a proposal allowing craft beer and wine on city-owned parking lots during farmer’s markets.
No action was taken Tuesday night.
