A Peoria teenager, arrested in connection with the shooting of a Peoria High School student last year, was sentenced Wednesday to 7 years in prison. 19 year old Quantrey King must serve 85 percent of his sentence but will be given credit for nearly a year he has spent in jail. King pleaded guilty in April to aggravated discharge of a firearm. King was charged after police found a 17 year old boy lying face down with a single gunshot wound just a few blocks from Peoria High School. Because of that shooting, the school increased security measures as a precaution.
