Peoria Teen Sentenced on Weapon Charge

A Peoria teenager, charged with being a street gang member in possession of a handgun, was sentenced Monday to four and a half years in prison after changing his plea. 17 year old Tovias Seiber pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a weapon. Seiber is alleged to have been caught with a weapon last November in the 100 block of East Arcadia. According to court records, Seiber was given credit for time already served since his arrest.
