A Peoria man, who has already served time for robbery and now facing four new armed robbery charges, will be back in court later this month for a fitness review. That review was ordered Thursday by a Peoria judge hearing the case against 36 year old Jerry A. Johnson. Johnson is being held for a string of holdups at the same Marathon station last May. Johnson was captured after police set up surveillance at the gas station after it had been hit on May 9th, 11th, 12th and 13th. According to court records, Johnson was sent to prison for robbery in 1997 while he served time for a forgery charge in 2002 and theft in 2007. Johnson has two other pending court cases for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
