A Peoria man, who was reported missing and later arrested for allegedly stealing money from his employer, pleaded NOT GUILTY Thursday to a recent grand jury indictment. 37 year old Les Newton is facing two counts of felony theft. Authorities put out a plea to find Newton in May after he was last seen leaving Abraham and Sons Amusements on Detweiller Drive. Police claim Newton stole more than five hundred but less than ten thousand dollars from the business. Newton remains free on bond and will appear in court again September 19th.
