Peorian Sentenced in Murder Case

A Peoria man, convicted of murder and armed robbery in a 2011 armed robbery which turned fatal, has been sentenced to 35 years in prison and must serve the entire sentence. 25 year old Anthony Barlow Junior was charged in connection with a November 2011 holdup in the 500 block of East Republic. John Mahmoud died 22 days after being shot in the robbery. Barlow is appealing the sentence.
