A doubly lucky Pontiac resident, who initially had no idea the Hit or Miss lottery ticket he tucked inside his checkbook was worth $2,250,000 will receive an oversized check for that amount from the Illinois Lottery. The lucky player, who happens to be president of a Pontiac area bank, won the jackpot prize for matching or hitting all 12 numbers in the January 28th Hit or Miss drawing. He will also receive $100,000 a year for 20 years for matching the Good Life number, which is selected after every Hit or Miss drawing. The winner will be introduced Wednesday.
