Rain will continue to slide in to central Illinois from the south. Showers should be fairly light across the area, and start to wrap up overnight.
Clouds and cool temperatures will again be the rule. Another round of showers will roll into the afternoon and evening. Highs will top out in the upper 50's.
Temperatures will remain below average. We may see a few peaks of sunshine, but clouds and a few isolated rain chances will still win out. Rain chances should move out of the area late Friday night. Total rainfall for the period could range between 0.5" to 1.0" from tonight through Friday.
8 Day Outlook:
The weekend should bring back sunshine and begin a slow recovery with temperatures. Highs should top out in the mid 60's for the weekend. A big pattern shift looks to take shape next week, which will return our temperatures back to normal.
