Rauner Makes Last-Minute Campaign Trip to Peoria

PEORIA - Wmbd 31 is your local election headquarters and with the Primary Election just three days away, candidates are campaigning to the max.

Republican Governor Candidate Bruce Rauner made a stop in the River City.

He pitched his plan to lower taxes and spoke of term limits for Illinois politicians.

With only a few days left, he says his schedule is filled to the brim.

“We are going to be everywhere. Gonna be in Rockford, Quincy, Moline, Chicago area. We are going to be all over the state. We want to see every possible voter and spread our message about jobs, schools, and taxes, and remind everybody to vote.”
