Rauner says he's been on the road non-stop campaigning for close to a year now. His stop at Anthony Liftgates comes on the heels of his announcement to revamp the state's finances.
Rauner says he wants to continue to see more jobs created and he envisions small businesses leading the way.
“We are advocating we reduce the tax burden on families. We roll back the Quinn tax hike, and we broaden the tax base to some services that are non-essential, that are luxury services that don't hurt working families,” said Rauner.
If elected, Rauner says he will continue to push for term limits and an increased focus on vocational training to create more jobs in Illinois
