NORMAL - Illinois State University is looking at some changes on how it entertains fans during sporting events.

The school released the results of a fan survey it sent out at the end of the basketball season. More than 1,000 people responded.

Athletic officials say most people were happy with the concession choices, but wanted to have more options for ticket plans. Survey participants also want halftime entertainment during football and basketball games.

"We're going to see what we can do to tweak that a little bit, to see if we can energize the fan base a little bit more. We thought it was a good thing to go through. (We) received really good constructive criticism, which we were looking for,” said Larry Lyons, ISU’s athletic director.

Lyons says the survey primarily dealt with basketball and football games. He says one priority is having another family movie night, some time in the spring.
