NORMAL - Normal Police spent more than an hour Monday afternoon cleaning up after a two bus accident on the campus of Illinois State University.

The incident happened around 3:15 p.m. at the corner of College and University avenues. Police say one Unit Five school bus rear-ended another traveling in front of it, despite the second driver’s efforts to avoid the crash. Police say around 60 children were on the two buses, and none were injured in the crash. The driver of the rear-ending bus was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. The driver's  name is not being released at this time.

The first bus was able to be driven away from the scene of the accident before it was towed away, while the second was also towed. At this time, there’s no estimate of the damage to the two school buses.
