PEORIA - The Peoria Riverfront Museum is offering a place to sit and watch the fireworks July fourth.
The event includes an all-you-can eat barbecue from Gracie's Grille with snacks, beverages, and a cash bar.
While you wait for the big show, you can enjoy a live DJ as well as exhibits inside the museum.
The museum just asks that you bring your own chair.
The museum CEO says there has been a good response for the event.
"Amazing food, the museum will be open, the galleries, the Ripley's Show, the giant screen, the planetarium,” Museum CEO Sam Gappmayer said. “So, it's a great place to wait for the fireworks to happen, but also a fabulous, first-rate place to see the fireworks, themselves."
He suggests those willing to go to the museum early to buy their ticket early to avoid waiting in line.
Member tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children ages 3-12.
Non-member tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for children.
And after the fireworks, you can watch “Transformers: Age of Extinction 3D” at the Giant Screen Theater at 10:30 P.M. for an extra charge.
