Two Bloomington Men Indicted for June Battery

Two of three Bloomington men, charged with murdering a homeless man last month, are indicted Wednesday for an unrelated incident last month. 18 year old Willie Chambers and 29 year old Tory Washington are each charged with aggravated battery and mob action. Those charges stem from an alleged incident at O'Neil Park June 2nd. Chambers and Washington along with Anthony Davis Dickson are also facing murder charges for the death of Ronald Smith who was found with a severe head wound June 2nd in the 1400 block of Walnut Street. He died of his injuries, according to the coroner July 3rd. Both Chambers and Washington will appear in court Friday on Wednesday's indictment. All three men will appear later this month on the murder charges.
