A robbery in Uptown Normal leads to charges against two Bloomington teenagers. 19 year old Tory Washington and 18 year old Willie Chambers Junior were charged Wednesday with robbery, aggravated battery and mob action. Police say the victim was walking on Constitution Trail when, he says, several teens jumped and mugged him. The victim, who suffered minor injuries, says they took his cell phone and headphones. Washington's bond was set at 50 thousand dollars while Chambers' bond is 100,000 dollars. The case will most likely be heard by a grand jury.
