A union coalition went to court Monday to stop the state from implementing its new, controversial state pension reform law in July. The group, called We Are One Illinois is asking a judge for a temporary restraining order saying the new law is forcing state employees to make life altering retirement decisions which can't be reversed. The state says the new law should save the state billions of dollars in the next 30 years.
