PEORIA - A Sprint car driver is the one asking for autographs today.
Morton Collision Repair driver Ryan Bunton wants veterans to sign his race.
He and his car were at the Community Workshop and Training Center today where vets gathered to make their mark.
The car has a new patriotic paint scheme and Bunton thought the signatures would be a good way to add to it.
Bunton said vets are always at his races.
“To just see them come down after the races and put their name on the car, and then for them to kind of see that the next weekend going around the track and hopefully doing good, I think it really makes them smile,” Bunton said.
The new signatures will debut this weekend, when Bunton heads to Knoxville, Iowa, for Saturday’s race.
