Cooking with Karissa: Bacon/Mushroom Burgers

3 lbs. 85% or Leaner Ground Beef
1 lb. Ground Pork (Not Sausage, Just Pork)
1/4 Cup A1 Steak Sauce
1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese
1/4 Cup Diced Onions
2 Small Cans Sliced Mushrooms (Drained)
2 Bags "Real" Bacon Bit Pieces

Mix Ground beef, pork, A1, cheese, onions and bacon bits well.

Form into thin patties about 2 1/2 to 3 inches wide and 1/4 of inch thick. It should make 18 patties or more.

Take 9 patties and put 3-4 mushroom slices in center of each one. Place other 9 patties on top of the first 9. Press around edges to hold together.

Grill on medium heat for 4 minutes per side, cooking on each side 2 times of the 4 minute time periods (16 minutes total).
