Members of Army Specialist Casey Lovell’s family have been in the military dating back to the Revolutionary War.

Casey grew up all across the U.S., landing in central Illinois as a 2004 graduate of Fieldcrest High School.

He completed basic training in august of 2012, marrying his wife Alex on graduation day.

Casey went on to advanced individual training as a military intelligence electronics repairer and installer, based out of Fort Drum, New York, in support of the Tenth Mountain Division.

In September of 2013, Casey deployed to Afghanistan.

In a scary moment overseas, Casey performed CPR on an ill soldier, returning his pulse and respiration back to normal.

He is an accomplished photographer who hopes to pursue a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering.
