WMBD/WYZZ-TV - PEORIA, Ill - Ed Cagle has come full circle.

The man who once quarterbacked Manual's football team is now coaching it. Cagle takes over a Rams squad that has gone winless the past two seasons but returns three-year veterans hungry to end the drought.

EJ Milor/Manual senior: "We have more experience on the field," said senior receiver EJ Milor. "There's not a lot of young people. Instead we're experienced, older guys."

Dan Fauser, who coached Manual for 21 years, left the school to become the District 150 Driver Education supervisor. That paved the way for Cagle, a Rams assistant coach, to take over the program.

"We're going to win, most definitely. We can't have any more losing seasons," said senior quarterback Marcus Sierra, who's starting his third season on varsity. "That's over with, we can'ty blame the coach, we have nobody to blame but ourselves, if we lose. We have to get it done."
