Cicciarelli is widely considered to be among the best players ever at stories Notre Dame High School, which has won four state soccer championships.

"I look at Vince's awards, Vince's articls and Vince's pictures and use it as motivation," said Bradley freshman Grayson McGraw, who played briefly with Cicciarelli in high school. It's inspired me to be the player I am today."

The Braves and Irish square off at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the annual Danny Dahlquist benefit game, named after a former Notre Dame player who lost his life in a house fire during his freshman season at Bradley.
