WMBD/WYZZ-TV - EAST PEORIA, Ill. - The Raiders are red hot.
East Peoria has outscored opponents 19-1 in three postseason softball games this spring and they say it's due to a sense of urgency the team has had since regionals started last week.
"We definitely have more serious practice, our pregame is serious," said EP senior pitcher Sarah Finck. "And we have to stay up the whole game instead of just some ininngs. that's how we do it."
East Peoria plays Metamora for the sectional championship on Saturday at 11 a.m.
