"When I looked up at that scoreboard and realized we were gonna finally do it, I was overwhelmed," said John Giesler, Illin Central Head Coach. "I can't describe the emotions I'm just lucky to be around such a great group of young men."

"I can't put it into words what I am feeling right now, its overwhelming I guess is the only word," said Duncan McClure, Illini Central Senior. "Something we worked so hard for, all those hours in the gym that we spent since we were in grade school, this is it this is what every single basketball player dreams of and we did it."
