Jensen Jump Starts Chiefs in Opener


WMBD/WYZZ-TV - BELOIT, Wis. -- Welcome to professional baseball, Michael Jensen.

Jensen tossed five shutout innings in leading the Peoria Chiefs to a 5-2 win over Beloit at Pohlman Field Thursday. The game was the Midwest League opener for both teams.

Jensen (1-0), who was selected in the 26th round of the draft last summer, allowed just two singles and struck out two in earning his first career victory.
