WMBD/WYZZ-TV - NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Paige Bourne buried Lake Forest's fourth penalty kick and the Scouts beat Normal West, 2-1, in the Class 2A girls soccer state title game Saturday at North Central College.

West forced overtime when Carolyn Peters scored a goal in the 47th minute to tie the game at 1. But the game went to penalty kicks after two scoreless ten-minute overtimes.

The Wildcats (27-2) bring home the trophy for second place, the highest finish for any team in school history.
