One Last Home Game For Morton's Bisping Family

Four Bispings Have Played For Morton

MORTON, Ill. - For the past dozen years, a Bisping has been playing varsity basketball at Morton.

And Todd and Linda Bisping have been there to watch.

"We just enjoy going to basketball games now," said Todd Bisping. "It's become a habit over the past
20 years of gojng to games. We've gone to a lot."

Todd and Linda Bisping are the proud parents of that basketball playing quartet. Todd keeps the scorebook Morton games, Linda watches from the stands.

"It's a good thing for us to be apart during the games," said Linda Bisping. A"nd it's good for Todd
to be keeping score because he doesn't say too much!"

The Bispings estimate they've seen some 2,000 basketball games involving their
four children - Brooke, Brett, Braden and Brandi.

Their oldest daughter Brooke, who played at MHS from 2005-2009, just had her number retired at the high school. Great memories, no doubt.

But many of their conversations after games weren't always about the final score.

"I remember Brett came home one time and I told him, I don't think you respect your coach," Linda Bisping said. 'He said, 'Why?' Because you don't look him in the eye."

Now Linda says all of her children look people in the eye. And Friday night Brandi plays her final home game.

So it's one last senior night for the Bisping family.

"It'll be emotional for all of us," said Todd Bisping. "it has been fun, we have enjoyed it. And it'll be bittersweet
to know this phase is over and we're on to the next week."
