WMBD/WYZZ-TV - MORTON, Ill. - Trent and Grant Reiman are identical twins. Literally.
"We really are the exact same person," said Trent Reiman. "Same interestes, same food, same sports, literally everything. It's kind of bizarre."
His brother agrees.
"Two weeks ago, we weighed ourselves at the gym and I weighed 153.7 pounds and he weighed 153.7 pounds," said Grant Reiman with a laugh. "It's crazy. We couldn't even believe that."
The boys from Morton are headed to Eastern Illinois University this fall to play tennis. And study business.
Yes, they'll do that together, as well.
"Same classes, same schedule, same major, same everything," said Grant Reiman. "Maybe people think that's crazy of us but we've been roomates our whole lives."
For the record, Trent is seven minutes older and a half-inch taller than Grant. They've been dazzling tennis fans on the court for years but now they're showing off another talent.
The Reimans won a Morton High School talent show by performing a song they wrote for their mom who died ten years ago.
"We worked on it for a month and it really came together," said Grant Reiman, who rapped in the song. "We weren't sure if we wanted to play it in front of people or not."
"I thought it was a great opportunity for us to show people what we can do but also show a tribute to my mom," said Trent Reiman, who played the guitar. "We think about her all the time."
Tennis, food, classes, now music. The Reiman brothers have found one more thing they are acing together.
