MCLEAN COUNTY – A Bloomington man will serve nine and half years in the Department of Corrections for robbing two local convenience stores.

43-year-old Joseph Rogers plead guilty to two counts of armed robbery in a McLean County court on Monday.

Police said Rogers robbed a Freedom Oil Store and demanded cash from the clerk working behind the counter.
