The Peoria International Airport is seeing a little more foot traffic today as flights across the Midwest begin to depart.

The airport director says travel is slowly returning to normal, but to make sure to check your lfight status to see if it is delayed.

Some flights to or from Chicago and Detroit are still cancelled.

One Traveler says it’s hard to keep up with the constant change in plans.

There's nothing I can do about it.  Obviously, I have no control over the weather or the flight.  But, it's frustrating because it's costing me a job.  I'll get to do it again at

another time, but at the same time, travel is never a thrill in the first place,” says J. Chris Newberg, a delayed traveler.

Newberg is trying to make it to Dallas before he connects to LA to perform in a music concert.

His flight to Dallas was still delayed early this afternoon.
