Another Poll Shows Obama's Approval Rating Tanking
Yet another poll released Thursday shows President Obama's approval rating hit a new low. CNN released its latest survey indicating only 41 percent of Americans approve of the job the President is doing in the White House, the lowest level in CNN polling. 56 percent disapprove of his performance. This is now the sixth poll in the past week or so which has showed Obama's approval rating plummeting. CBS released a poll Wednesday showing Obama's approval at 37 percent while Washington Post/ABC poll showed if the election were held now, Mitt Romney would beat President Obama. CNN's polling director said Obama's woes began before the disasterous rollout of the health care law in October. He claims the real damage began in June when reports about NSA spying and IRS treatment of conservative groups caused an 8 point drop in his approval rating. In another indication how the Democrats and the President have slipped in the polling, 50 percent believe congressional Republicans will have more influence over the direction the nation takes while only 42 percent say Obama will have more influence.
