A Bloomington man, one of six people charged in connection with a marijuana growing operation which stretched from Bloomington to Tremont, was sentenced Friday. According to court officials, 50 year old John Keller pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of marijuana. He received 24 months first offender probation. That means if Keller successfully completes probation, the charges and conviction will be dismissed. Keller was the last person arrested as part of an investigation in connection with what police called a large scale marijuana growing operation. Police claim they seized 11 marijuana plants from Keller's basement.
