Boot Camp: Bloomington will ride Romani

Returning QB Jake Romani is poised to have a great season.

BLOOMINGTON - Last year's co-big twelve conference champ, Bloomington, looks to be a favorite this season.

The Purple Raiders have 24 returning seniors and bring back nine starters.

They'll ride the arm of all-conference quarterback Jake Romani all season long.

"Been through a lot of camps this summer and made me develop as a better pocket passer," said Jake Romani, Bloomington Senior Quarterback.  "Working drills in the pocket.  ALways like that.  I want people to know that."

"With the ball in his hands, anything is possible," said Robert Hooker, Bloomington Lineman.  "He's a clutch player.  he can make all the throws.  I want us to be ferocious, tbe the best we can be.  This will be best defenses we've had in a couple of years."

The Purple Raiders open August 30th at home against Danville.
